Mohammed Polo dedicates biography to forefathers of Ghana football

Ghana football legend Mohammed Polo says his recently published biography on his football career is dedicated to Ghana’s football greats who came before him.

He said this to CITI Sports in an interview at the Accra Sports Stadium after the maiden National Fitness Day observation concluded. The book, titled, Polo The Magnificent: The Story of the Dribbling Magician” was launched earlier this year.

Speaking in the presence of fellow football stalwart Kofi Pare of Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko fame, the Dribbling Magician paid his respect to the forefathers of the sport.

“This-biography-is a lifetime issue that at the end of your career as a footballer, how do the younger ones get to know you so you have to put something in place but this is something that is dedicated to my senior ones Reverend Pare and those who have served Ghana football to the best they ever could before we came” he said.
