No Hair: Father time catches up with LeBron James

Heading into his 20th year in the NBA, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has a new look. The celebrated Forward was recently spotted with his hair completely cropped off its scalp.

James has benefited from hair transplants in past years but as he approaches his 38th birthday later in December, the four time NBA Champion’s hairline has showed signs of recession.

Reports indicate that King James had 1,600 and 2,000 grafts transplanted with each graft producing two hairs on average in past years.

LeBron is gunning for his fifth NBA title overall and his second with the Lakers after joining the team four seasons ago from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Lakers missed last season’s playoffs in a disappointing campaign that had LeBron miss a handful of games to injury while other notable star names on the roster like Anthony Davis, Carmelo Anthony and Russell Westbrook disappointed.

James, who is a minority shareholder in Fenway Sports Group (owners of Liverpool), hit the headlines earlier this off season with a series of photos with his family for fashion magazine Variety.
