Gyan pays tribute to retired “assist maker” Kwadwo Asamoah

Black Stars all time lead goal scorer, Asamoah “Baby Jet” Gyan, is the latest high profile football figure to wish Kwadwo Asamoah well following the former Inter Milan player’s retirement.

Asamoah recently announced his retirement from football and went on to state the next phase of his life will still be in football but as a scout.

Reacting to the news of Kwadwo Asamoah’s retirement, the Baby Jet wished the man who assisted three of the most important and glorious goals in his illustrious career well.

Great player by all standards. It was great to play with you bro. Enjoy your retirement bro” Gyan wrote on his Twitter page in recognition of Kwadwo Asamoah’s accomplishment.

The most talked about connection between the pair was Gyan scoring a header in Ghana’s 1-2 loss to Portugal at the 2014 World Cup off a trivela from Asamoah.  (Click highlighted text to watch goal)
