Sena Agbeko scores unanimous decision win in Super Middleweight contest

Ghanaian Super Middleweight contender, Sena “The African Assassin”, has scored a unanimous win over American, Isaiah Steen in a 10-round contest earlier today in New Jersey in the United States.

The hard-fought contest had 30-year-old Agbeko landing hard punches and being the aggressor of the fighters, while Steen landed solid jabs.

All three judges scored in favour of Agbeko, who picked up the fight just two weeks ago, to register his fourth win in a row.

Judge Mark Consentino scored the bout 97-93, Judge Anthony Lundy scored the bout 96-94 and Judge Joseph Pasquale scored the bout 98-92 all in favour of Agbeko.

Agbeko’s record now stands at 27 wins and two losses while Steen recorded the first loss of his professional career.

Prior to the fight, Steen’s record stood at 16 wins with 12 knockouts.

With the win, Agbeko gets closer to landing a title shot in a division headlined by David Benavidez and Canelo Alvarez.
