Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association, Bernhard Lippert has told Citi Sports of plans to develop the same football philosophy for all Junior National teams in the country.

Aside from the Black Stars and Black Queens, who will be excused from the philosophy, all of Ghana’s male and female age-group football teams will have one unique style.

According to Lippert, the comprehensive document will be handed to all Youth coaches for the smooth implementation of the policy.

“We develop now a national football philosophy where we have to play with all teams from under 15, under 18, under 20, the same playing style and principles of play.”

“How we behave when we lose the ball. How we behave when we have the ball.”

“It’s a 200-page document. We will present to our Youth National Team coaches.”

“In the past, one coach played like this, the other one played like this. And it will not be like this in the future”.

Ghana’s male youth teams include the Black Meteors, the Black Satellites, Black Starlets, and the Black Comets.

The female Junior teams comprise of Black Princesses, Black Maidens, and Black Damsels.
