Two-goal hero Kudus named Man of the Match in win over South Korea

Ghana’s Kudus Mohammed was named the Player of the Match in their 3-2 win over South Korea on Monday.

Kudus scored a brace and was a big threat offensively for the Black Stars throughout the game.

The Ajax starlet was one of Ghana’s most impressive players in the game against Portugal assisting Andre Ayew’s second-half equaliser.

But while that performance didn’t culminate in a positive result for Ghana, today’s did.

Kudus doubled Ghana’s lead after Mohammed Salisu had put them ahead in the first half.

And, after South Korea had battled back to level the game at 2-2 in the second half, the 22-year-old pounced on a miskick by Inaki Williams to fire home the winner.

After the match, Kudus was handed the Player of the Match award for the game.
