Right to Dream Academy players celebrate alumnus Mohammed Kudus World Cup brace

Players at the Right to Dream Academy have been captured celebrating the latest exploits from Academy graduate Mohammed Kudus.

Young players at the Academy celebrated Kudus’ brace in Ghana’s 3-2 win over South Korea in the second round of games in Group H at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Kudus scored the Black Stars second and third goals in the 34th and 68th minutes respectively with the first coming via a header and the second coming from a sustained spell of possession for Otto Addo’s men.

The Ajax midfielder/ forward’s brilliant Man of the Match performance sent the youngsters into delirium as they celebrated Kudus’ record setting feat.

A video of Right to Dream Academy players celebrating Mohammed Kudus stunning strike against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League went viral earlier this year.

By bagging two goals, Kudus became the first Ghanaian player to score more than a goal in FIFA World Cup matchup.

The 22 year old is sure to be counted on when Ghana takes on Uruguay in the final Group H matchup on Friday, December 2 with a big chance to qualify to the Round of 16 stage.

Ghana has three points in two games after losing 2-3 to Portugal in the opening game.
