Kotoku Royals Public Relations Officer Okatakyie Afrifa has shed more light on the mutual parting of ways between the club and hitherto head coach Seth Ablade.

The Akim Oda based club announced the departure of Ablade through a club statement ahead of the restart of the betPawa Ghana Premier League campaign.

Kotoku Royals have won just a game and drawn another while losing six games in eight outings in the betPawa League. The team ranks bottom of the 18 team league standings.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with CITI Sports, Afrifa pointed out the departure came on the back of a two hour meeting with the trainer.

“It was an emergency meeting between Kotoku Royals and coach Seth Ablade about the performance of the club…so the management met the coach for about a two and a half hour meeting and the final say was that the coach should step aside. In a mutual way, the two parties have parted ways” he stated.
