Basketball Africa League Experience held in Accra

The Basketball Africa League (BAL) experience was held in Ghana’s capital, Accra at the Kozo Restaurant with a lot of pomp and pageantry.

The well attended event had heavy hitters in the NBA Africa and Basketball Africa League space in attendance to generate awareness about the upcoming third edition of the BAL.

BAL President Amadou Gallo Fall, BAL Vice President John Manyo-Plange and NBA Africa Nigeria Office Head Gbemisola Abudu were in attendance.

Former NBA player Pops Mensah-Bonsu and former pro basketball player Alhaji Mohammed were present at the event.

The program also served as a meeting point for stakeholders to lay the foundations for Ghana to get a world class arena and make the country a possible host of BAL games in the near future.

Speaking at the event, BAL President Amadou Fall stated, “Our games in the past two years have been broadcast in 215 countries around the world and we are only scratching the surface. We would love to come to Ghana…have a facility that would allow us to play Basketball Africa league here.”
