Euroleague: Ben Bentil honoured by former club Olimpia Milano

Ghana forward Ben Bentil was honoured by former club Olimpia Milano with a special gift for his efforts during his brief stay with the Italian club.

Milano gifted Bentil and Nemanja Nedovic with a framed jersey before Milano played Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) MTS in the latest round of Euroleague regular season games.

Bentil played the 2021-2022 season with Milano and won the Italian Cup and Serie A title while Nedovic played for Milano from the 2018 to the 2020 season.

Nedovic and Bentil signed to join Red Star this offseason and both players featured in the game that had Red Star lose 68-74 to Milano.

Bentil led all players by registering 17 points and adding seven rebounds and two steals in 29:16 minutes as a starter.

Former Golden State Warriors Guard Nedovic on the other hand, scored four points and added two assists in 16:50 minutes.

In his debut season in Europe’s elite competition, Bentil is averaging 8.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 21.7 minutes.

In the Euroleague, Crvena takes on Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday, February 9.
