Ghanaian striker, Antoine Semenyo made his debut for Premier League side AFC Bournemouth in their 1-0 loss to Brighton at the Amex on Saturday.
The 23-year old joined The Cherries in the just ended January transfer window from English Championship side Bristol City.
Semenyo who played the full 90 minutes of the game, gave a good account of himself, despite failing to find the back of the net.
Japanese international Kaoru Mitoma found the back of the net in the 87th minute with his header to win the game for Brighton.
Relegation threatened Bournemouth remain 19th on the Premier league table with 17 points following the defeat to Roberto De Zerbi’s men.
