Good to know how it feels- Kamaldeen Sulemana speaks on Premier League debut

Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has reacted positively to his English Premier League debut with Southampton that took place this past weekend.

Southampton lost 0-3 to Brentford in a Week 22 fixture that marked Sulemana’s first game for Southampton after securing a record transfer from French side Stade Rennes.

Sulemana joined The Saints for 25 million Euros on a four and a half year deal and came on as a second half substitute in the loss to Brentford; Southampton trailed 0-2 at half time.

Speaking to Southampton in his first official interview since joining the English south coast club, Sulemana was pleased he got the chance to experience life in the Premier League early after his move.

“It’s good to know how it feels to play in the Premier League; now it’s about getting everything right and making sure we win games and move forward” he said.

Sulemana and fellow new signing Paul Onuachu were praised by head coach Nathan Jones for “making a difference” in the game against Brentford. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
