Brother of Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu, Isaac Twasam, is adamant his brother will be found alive as the search continues to find the former AFC Bournemouth player.
Speaking from the premises of Atsu’s apartment at the Renaissance Residence in Hatay in Turkey, Isaac Twasam is hopeful Christian’s whereabouts will be confirmed and he will be alive when found.
Christian Atsu was reported buried under rubble from earthquakes that hit Turkey on Monday, February 6 that has affected over 20,000 people with over 10,000 confirmed dead.
However, that report was refuted by several sources including officials from his club side Hatayspor; Twasam, Atsu agent, Nana Sechere, friends and a staff member from Ghana’s Embassy in Turkey are at the Renaissance Residence as rescue workers search frantically through the rubble.

“He is alive, I have hope. I will not leave until I find Atsu. I believe we will find him alive” Isaac Twasam said according to Turkish media outlet Haber Global.

Atsu moved to Hatayspor this season and scored his debut goal in a 1-0 win over Kasimpasa on Sunday, February 5.
31 year old Atsu, played for Ghana’s Black Stars at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
