PSV Eindhoven Technical Director Ernest Faber has praised handlers of the Attram De Visser Academy for deploying creative techniques in training footballers.
He said this in a chat with CITI Sports after witnessing a series of training sessions at the Academy facility at Tabora in Ghana’s capital, Accra.
Faber, who doubles as PSV’s Head of Youth Coaches, was present at the Academy with a member of PSV Eindhoven’s Scouting Team, Eric Addo.
Addo is a retired Black Stars defender who played for Ghana at the 1998 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) and was part of the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
“Very creative training here; complement to the coach. They use of small spaces, high intensity, good recovery, the way they used the ball, I saw a lot of good things…I saw a lot of exercises from Holland. You can see the team plays with an European style and it’s very good” he said.
