Ghana and Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has spoken up about the readiness of young players at Arsenal Football Club to help the team win the English Premier League title.
Arsenal battled from 0-2 deficit to clinch a 3-2 win over AFC Bournemouth in the latest round of league games with Partey scoring in the Gunners win.
Twenty three year old winger Reiss Nelson climbed off the bench to score the winning goal in the 97th minute and assisted Ben White’s goal that pulled Arsenal even.
In the aftermath of the important win that keeps Arsenal five points atop the Premier League standings , Partey praised the readiness of young players like Nelson, Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli as Arsenal make a push to win its first league title since 2003.
“Well, I think now they are not younger players any more. They have experience. They have been playing for a long time. They are mature. I think it is time for them to be able to achieve whatever they want to achieve. That is their dream. I think they are all ready to achieve this” he said according to The Independent.
Partey is in his third season with Arsenal after moving from Spanish side Atletico Madrid.
