Chris Hughton is a unifier – Didi Dramani

Black Stars Assistant Coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani has labelled Chris Hughton as a unifier following his appointment as the substantive Gaffer for the Black Stars.

The Ghana Football Association is set to unveil the Irish-Ghanaian born Chris Hughton on March 20 in Kumasi to the general public ahead of Ghana’s double header against the Black Antelopes of Angola in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.

The first engagement between the coach and the media will be a platform for the Football Association to also make public the targets, terms of engagement, and other relevant information pertaining to the manager’s work.

Speaking to Citi Sports on what to expect from the former Brighton & Hove Albion Coach, Dramani spoke highly of Chris Hughton’s personality.

“No matter what I say about his philosophy it has nothing to do with what people out there think”

“What I will say about Chris is that, he is a unifier, he brings people together and his openness to other people’s views is huge and this alone speaks volumes of his personality.”

“What this means is that it brings continuity and advancement to the team”.

Ghana will take on Angola in two legs of the 2023 AFCON Qualifiers, with the first leg slated for Thursday 23rd March, 2023 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, then the second leg in Luanda on March 27 at the Estadio 11 Novembro.
