GFA Head of Communications Henry Asante Twum was named in the petition as a "related party" in the breaches of conflicts of interest

Ghana Football Association (GFA) Head of Communications Henry Asante Twum has stated a contingent representing the Angola Men’s National Team is expected to arrive in Kumasi later tonight.
He said this at the pre game press conference held at the Baba Yara Stadium ahead of Ghana’s 2023 AFCON qualifier against the Southern African nation on Thursday, March 23 at 16:00 GMT.
Flanked by Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton, the GFA Comms Head confirmed the Angolan National team has arrived in Accra and is preparing to journey to Kumasi to honour the tie tomorrow.
“They arrived in Accra a few minutes ago and we are expecting them in Kumasi in the next 30, 40 minutes. We are making provisions for them to train here by 7pm…at this particular moment the team has yet to arrive in Kumasi.”

Thursday’s game marks the first time Chris Hughton takes charge of the Black Stars as head coach after serving as technical advisor under immediate past coach Otto Addo.
Ghana leads Group E with a superior goal difference ahead of Angola with both countries tied on four points.
