Current Ghana Boxing Authority may be the worst ever – Bouhairie

PBC Public Relations Director Kenneth Bouhairie

Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) Public Relations Director, Kenneth Bouhairie, has slammed the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) for its handling of the sports discipline.

He singled out GBA President, Abraham Neequaye Kotei in particular for blame in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports ahead of the PBC’s headline fight between Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis on Saturday, April 22 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

“This current one [regime] may be the worst of them all and I know people from the outside have gently tried to steer them in the right direction…you have the President of the GBA that has managed to draw the ire of many in the sport because he is abrasive and has a very self-serving style of leadership.”

The American based boxing administrator also addressed key issues that has prevented Ghana from meeting the standards of the sport it set decades ago that yielded world titles. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
