Bernard Tekpetey wins Bulgarian League title with Ludogorets Razgrad

On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, Ludogorets Razgrad secured the Bulgarian Parva Liga title for the 2022-23 season, completing a remarkable double.

Ghanaian forward, Bernard Tekpetey played an important role in this achievement with eight goals and five assists in 27 games.

Ludogorets earned a hard-fought victory as they triumphed 1-0 over Cherno More in the final match of the season, securing their 12th Bulgarian championship in history.

Bernard Tekpetey joined the game in the 85th minute, substituting Bulgaria international midfielder, Kirin Despodov.

Finishing the season as champions, Ludogorets amassed an impressive 85 points from 35 matches. They showcased their offensive prowess by scoring 81 goals, while their defence proved formidable, conceding only 27 times.

Just two weeks prior to their league triumph, Ludogorets clinched the Bulgarian Cup trophy in a victory over CSKA 1948 Sofia in the final.
