Floyd Mayweather’s latest exhibition descended into chaos when his opponent sparked a mass brawl after the fight was stopped.

John Gotti III, grandson of the infamous mob boss from the Gambino crime family, continued to swing at the boxing legend after the referee had waved off the bout.

As expected, Mayweather was showboating and seemed entirely untroubled by his opponent.

In the sixth round, referee Kenny Bayless called an end to the fight and Gotti wasn’t best pleased.

He continued to go after Mayweather leading to dozens of people entering the ring and get involved in a mass punch up.

The 50-0 boxer then sat on the top rope to observe the scene, before being escorted from the arena.

The fighting continued both inside and outside the ring as police officers tried to restore some order.

It was the latest in a string of bizarre exhibition fights for Mayweather.

He last took on reality TV star Aaron Chalmers at a half empty O2 Arena in February.

It was his seventh in total since retiring in 2017 after beating Conor McGregor for his 50th career victory without defeat.
