Ghanaians laud GFA for improved Ghana Premier League medals

The Ghana Football Association has received plaudits on social media for improving the quality of the Ghana Premier League medals after criticisms.

Medeama, who won the league with 60 points were awarded with exquisitely designed medals for their triumph.

In the past, there was a big difference in the quality of medals given out to league winners.

Last season’s champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, and the 2020/2021 League winners, Accra Hearts of Oak, were awarded medals that were not up to standard.

This caused a lot of criticism and scrutiny for the football governing body.

The medals given to the champions were described as sub-standard, meaning they were not of good quality or not as good as they should have been.

This was disappointing for the winning teams and their fans, as they had worked hard to earn the league title and deserved better recognition.

However, the situation has now changed for the better.

The football governing body realized the importance of providing high-quality medals that truly reflect the significance of winning the league.
