Ghana Boxing Authority President encourages promoters to stage more boxing events

Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) President Abraham Neequaye Kotei has called for boxing promoters to stage more boxing events.

He made the call on the sidelines of the King of the Ring 3 Fight Night held at the Trust Sports Emporium in Bukuom, Accra.

The Monarch Promotions headlined event was well patronized by fans and the GBA President highlighted this is as a sign for more promoters to stage more fights.

“This is what we’ve been telling the promoters. If you can look around, today is Friday, the supporters are her, tomorrow they will be here. There are more days and we encourage more promoters to take advantage of what is going on to do same” he said in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports.

The 10 fight schedule had Ghana super middleweight champion Prince Okoe Nartey score a third round technical knockout win over Felix Mankata.
