Liberty Professionals deny reports of being sold

Ghanaian football side, Liberty Professionals have rejected claims that the club has been sold.

In a press statement, the Dansoman-based club indicated that their slot in the Division One League Zone 3 has rather been divested to an unnamed club.

Which means that although they will not be playing in the Division One League, the club, Liberty Professionals is still fully operational.

In the press release, Liberty Professionals further stated that the club will operate as an academy with revamped infrastructure which covers players accommodation, training pitches among several things.

As per the club, the club’s new direction will be spearheaded by talent trainer, John Oppong Welbeck.
