U-23 AFCON: Ghana officially announces squad for tournament

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially announced Ghana’s 25-man squad for the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations happening in Morocco.

The official squad has three goalkeepers which features Aziz Dari, Jordan Amissah and Ibrahim Danland.

Head Coach, Ibrahim Tanko called up nine defenders, six midfielders and seven forwards.

The squad does not feature Ransford-Yeboah Koningsdoffer and Kamaldeen Sulemana but FC Nordsjaelland star, Ernest Nuamah is in the team.

Emmanuel Essiam of FC Basel as well as FC Cincinnati midfielder, Salim Adams have both been named in the official team.

Ghana will begin their campaign with the game against Congo at 3pm (Ghana Time).
