Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council member Samuel Anim Addo has indicated he believes in GFA President Kurt Okraku’s openness to criticism.

He said this in the aftermath of the 29th GFA Ordinary Congress held in Kumasi with Citi Sports that was headlined by Okraku’s speech where the GFA President highlighted his willingness to work with people with diverse opinions.

The congress was held at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology’s Great Hall and the event had Ashanti Gold Sporting Club’s ban approved by congress members.

According to the GFA President, doing this will make him a better leader and in his interview, Anim Addo agreed with this assertion.

“What he- Kurt Okraku- is saying is that we should be objective. We should not destroy our brand. I think it’s a good message. We can criticize and offer solutions and come together to build and that’s what he said. He ended with that message that we need everybody to build together…and I hope that all of us will understand and come together to build this industry.”
