Once celebrated as the “Brazilians of Africa” for their distinctive “agoro” style of play, the nation’s football essence seemed to have lost its way over time.
“Previously, they used to say [Ghana is] the Brazil of Africa. Why? Because of the “agoro” type of the game.
And now, we are no more Brazilians because our identity is lost.
Now we have brought it back because all of us were consulted.
We need the passion and the persistence to chase this book and then to diagnose it to the young ones.
So that by the time they reach the higher stage, the game will change and then everybody will enjoy how Ghanaians play.”
