We will represent Ghana in the best way at GOA Basketball Festival- Coach Amedeku

Head coach of the team representing Ghana at the Giants of Africa (GOA) Festival, Thomas Amedeku, says his team will represent the country in the best way.

He said this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports ahead of the team’s departure to participate in the festival that runs from August 13 to August 19 in Kigali, Rwanda.

The GOA Festival is an event that celebrates youth basketball in Africa and 16 teams representing 16 African countries including Ghana will participate in the competition. Coach Amedeku believes his team will represent the country well.

“It’s a message that we are going to send to the whole world in terms of the talent level that we have in this country so these are guys that are going to represent us in the best way that they can. You are going to see guys fighting for Ghana at the international stage.”

Amedeku stated this in the presence of the head of Ghana’s delegation to Kigali, Feranmi Olunloyo. GOA Festival is the brainchild of Toronto Raptors President Masai Ujiri.
