Accra Hearts of Oak routed lower division side, Miracle Land FC, with an impressive 11-1 victory in a friendly match as part of their preparations for the upcoming 2023 Gbese Mantse Homowo Charity Cup.
The match took place in anticipation of their clash with city rivals, Accra Great Olympics, scheduled to be held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, August 20.
Kashala Ramos netted a hat trick during the match, which was played at the Kpobiman training grounds.
Mitchel Sarpong and Hamza Issah each contributed two goals to the overwhelming victory.
The day’s other scorers included Winimi Patasi, Seidu Suraj, Martin Karikari, and Glid Linda Mtange.
With this victory secured, the Phobians are now shifting their focus to clinching their first pre-season trophy in preparation for the upcoming 2023/2024 league season.
