Player of the Year, Erling Haaland, reveals bizarre bed-time routine including taping his mouth shut

PFA Men’s Players’ Player of the Year award winner and Manchester City star Erling Haaland has revealed his bizarre bed-time routine.

The Norwegian striker, who has scored 55 goals in 58 games since joining City, stressed the importance of sleeping well.

Haaland stated that he tapes his mouth shut before sleeping and also disclosed that he wears blue light blocking glasses for three hours before bed.

The 23-year-old some of the secrets behind his success while appearing on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast.

Haaland said: ‘I think sleep is the most important thing in the world.

‘So to sleep good, simple kind of things blue blocking glasses, shutting out all the signals in the bedroom.

‘To do a lot of things is not good but to do small things every single day for a longer period really pays off.’

In addition to taping his mouth, Haaland says that he regularly uses a sauna.

‘You should try and tape your mouth. I sleep with it.’

Haaland has become the latest athlete to be sponsored by Logan Paul and KSI’s Prime energy drink.

He previously revealed his diet of heart and liver that has helped him to become a success in a documentary called Haaland: The Big Decision.
