CAF Confed Cup: Dreams beat FC Kallon in 1st leg of 2nd round

Ghana’s representative in the CAF Confederation Cup, Dreams FC on Friday recorded a 2-1 win over FC Kallon at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Dreams begun the game on the front foot when Godfred Atuahene gave the hosts an early lead in the 11th minute of the game.

The visitors however responded just before the break when Daniel Karim found the net, to level the game at 1-1.

Both teams returned from the break looking to take the lead but it was Dreams FC, who were able to find the back of the net once again, after John Antwi converted from the penalty spot.

Dreams will now focus on the 2nd leg of the tie as they look to book their spot in the group stage of the competition.

The 2nd leg will see Karim Zito’s men play away to FC Kallon in Sierra Leone on Friday, September 29 at the Southern Arena Stadium.
