It looks like a dead leg- Crystal Palace Manager on Jordan Ayew injury

Crystal Palace Assistant Manager Paddy McCarthy has given an early diagnosis on Jordan Ayew’s injury that limited his game time in this past weekend’s round of games in the English Premier League.

Speaking in the post-game press conference after Crystal Palace lost 1-3 to Aston Villa, McCarthy touched on Ayew’s injury enforced substitution in the 25th minute in the loss.

Palace played out the game without Manager Roy Hodgson on the touchline due to an illness; McCarthy was the lead man on the touchline for the Game Week 5 matchup.

“He’s (Hodgson) feeling better, so we’re all hopeful that he’ll continue to feel better and will be back with us sooner than later” before touching on Ayew’s situation.

“It looks like a dead leg – it’s a little bit early to say. He’ll be assessed tomorrow and see where we are with him on Monday” according to Crystal Palace media.
