Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum is adamant his team performed well in its debut loss of the 2023-2024 Betpawa Premier League season.

He said this in a post game interview on the back of Kotoko’s 1-2 loss to Bibiani in a standout Week 2 league game.

The loss compounds the pressure on Dr. Ogum whose side drew goalless with Kpando Heart of Lions in the opening game of the new campaign.

Prince Owusu Kwabena and Eric Bosumtwi scored for Gold Stars in the 65th and 73rd minute respectively to sandwich Sheriff Mohammed’s goal for Kotoko.

Despite the loss, Dr. Ogum believes his side played well stating, “When we came in the second half, we looked a bit more settled, we were able to connect our passes and the few changes that we also did brought some stability into the game especially up front and that made us to create some few chances.
