We are not under pressure; we have two goals in the basket- Medeama head coach states ahead of Horoya clash

Head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Augustine Evans Adotey, says his team isn’t under pressure heading into a crucial tie in the CAF Champions League.

Medeama takes on Guinea’s Horoya AC on Saturday, September 30 at 16:00 GMT in Guinea. The Mauve and Yellow side holds a 3-1 lead heading into the second leg.

Speaking ahead of the important clash where the winner progresses to the group stage of the competition, coach Adotey shrugged off the thought of his side being under pressure.

“No we are not under pressure. (We have) Two goals in our basket; the home team is rather under pressure. All that we need to do is to make sure we qualify.

So our mission here is to sail through to the next stage be it a draw game, a win or whatever, we want to qualify automatically. That is the message.”
