It won’t be business as usual should I make it to GFA Executive Council- Gyambrah

Bono Ahafo Regional FA Chairman Raphael Gyambrah

Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council aspirant Raphael Gyambrah says should he get voted on to the council, he will push for things to be done differently.

He said this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports as the wait continues for the 2023 GFA Elections to take place.

An injunction has been slapped on the Elections preventing it from taking place on September 27 but plans are far advanced to have the elections held on October 5.

Gyambrah stated he will push to ensure the EXCO participate heavily in football matters beyond the Black Stars.

“I am someone who has always had strong views on policies and decision makings. Sometimes I’ve had to speak my mind such that a lot of people may not be too happy about it but that’s who I am.

My whole being dedicated to the development of football …and so when I find myself on the Executive Council, it will not be about Black Stars or about the national team as usual.”

Gyambrah served as Bono Ahafo Regional Football Association Chairman in the outgoing group of executives.
