Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, believes his players showed resilience and character in its Betpawa Premier League game against Nations FC.

Kotoko drew 2-2 with Nations in the all Kumasi matchup that lived up to the hype with both teams playing out an exciting game at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

The game dominated the headlines for the wrong reasons however, as alleged fans of Kotoko ripped seats and flew them on the pitch to register their displeasure over a late penalty awarded to Nations that led to Nations equalizing goal.

Despite the setback, Dr. Ogum was full of praise for his team stating in an interview with Kotoko’s official media channel,

“I think it was a very beautiful game both teams played very well. Both teams tried to possess the ball play at a time a high intensity and create a lot of chances so I think it was a good game. As far as my team is concerned, I think the players did very well.”
