Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has tagged his debut start in the English Premier League as a disappointing one after seeing his West Ham side lose 0-1 to Everton at the London Stadium.

West Ham lost for the third time in a row in all competitions after failing to beat Sean Dyche’s side in one of the shock results of the past EPL round of games.

West Ham lost 1-4 to Aston Villa in the league and lost 1-2 to Olympiacos in the Europa League.

Kudus started an EPL game for the first time for West Ham since joining from Ajax in the loss to Everton after making consecutive appearances off the bench.

Speaking to West Ham’s official media channel, Kudus stated, “It was very disappointing. We knew we would have to do more to create a lot of chances, but we didn’t manage to do that. If you don’t score then you need to not concede, but we didn’t do that today.”

Kudus played the entire duration of the game and got booked in the 28th minute but according to WhoScored.com, the Ghanaian playmaker was dispossessed eight times against Everton which is more than any player has recorded this season.
