I’ve been to Ghana once; I have to go back- Man City’s Jeremy Doku [VIDEO]

Manchester City Football Club Belgian winger of Ghanaian descent, Jeremy Doku, says he wants to go back to Ghana after visiting the West African nation just once in his life.

Doku was born in Borgerhout, Belgium to Ghanaian parents and starred for French League 1 side Stade Rennes before joining the defending English Premier League champions in the immediate past offside.

Speaking in an interview, Doku revealed his connection runs deep with Ghana including his ability to speak Twi (which is the most widely spoken language in Ghana)

“I am Ghanaian also because my parents are Ghanaian. I also speak twi. I’ve been there once. I have to go back again because it’s a long time ago (I went there).

I like Ghana, I like the way they dance, I like the way talk, I like the music.”

In his first season with Man City, the 21 year old has two goals and five assists in 12 EPL appearances and has a goal and an assist in five UEFA Champions League appearances.
