Senior Pastor at the Alabaster International Ministry, Prophet Kofi Oduro, has thrown his weight behind the February 14 demonstration over the poor state of Ghana football.

He demonstrated this by voicing his support for the “Save Ghana Football” demonstration that is scheduled to take place exactly a week from today with the start point being the Obra Spot and end the point being the Independence Square in Ghana’s capital, Accra.

Taking a photo in the presence of the protest headliners Saddick Adams and Veronica Commey (both sports journalists), the outspoken preacher held a shirt with the “Save Ghana Football” phrase prominently inscribed on it.

“It is not just a demonstration. It is a rude-awakening that it can’t always be business as usual” Prophet Oduro said.

The demonstration comes in the wake of the Black Stars poor 2023 AFCON campaign that had Ghana crash out of the competition in the first round.

Missing out on a spot in the round of 16 in Cote D’Ivoire marked the second AFCON edition in a row Ghana has failed to progress from the group stage.
