GFA blocks February 14th Demonstration organizer Saddick Adams on social media

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has blocked sports journalist Saddick Adams from accessing its official page on social media.

The GFA’s official page on X (formerly Twitter) blocked Adams from having access to the administrative authority’s outlet on the online platform.

Adams has been very vocal about the GFA’s handling of football matters in Ghana particularly matters related to the Black Stars.

Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team- the Black Stars- crashed out of the 2023 AFCON in the first round after failing to win a game at the tournament.

This marked the second AFCON edition in a row that Ghana failed to progress from the first round and failing to score a win in either edition.

In the wake of the Black Stars elimination, Adams and a handful of sports journalists including Veronica Commey and Patrick Osei Agyemang have organized a demonstration against the GFA and Ministry of Youth and Sports on February 14. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
