I will compete for Ghana at 13th African Games- Joseph Paul Amoah

Bronze medal winner at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Joseph Paul Amoah, has stated that he will compete in the upcoming African Games.

He said this via a video posted on the 13th African Games X (formerly Twitter) page ahead of the Games that runs from March 8 to March 23 in Accra.

The multi-sport competition is to be held at the Borteman Sports Complex and University of Ghana Stadium mainly with the Accra Sports Stadium and Cape Coast Stadium set to host competitions in football.

“I feel blessed and happy to announce that I will be competing for Ghana in the 200 metres at the African Games in Accra. I want to ask everyone of you to come outside in your numbers as the Ghanaian teams compete for gold in their various events. One love Ghana.”

The former Prempeh College and Coppin State University athlete was part of Ghana’s relay team that competed at the 2022 World Athletics Championship in Eugene, Oregon in the United States of America.
