Mohammed Kudus believes his goal against SC Freiburg could probably rank as one of his best goals in his professional football career.

He said this to West Ham’s media channel after scoring a brace in The Hammers 5-0 win over German side Freiburg to progress to the quarterfinals of the Europa League.

Kudus and the other members of West Ham’s famed front line (Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta) scored  to give West Ham a 5-1 aggregate win.

England international Bowen talked about the pleasure he has playing alongside Kudus despite the Ghanaian midfielder’s limited time at the London club after joining West Ham this past offseason. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

After picking up the ball in his half, Kudus dribbled past three Freiburg players before sweeping the ball home with his right foot in the 77th minute; Kudus scored his second goal in the 85th minute.

Speaking on the goal, Kudus said, “I think so [it’s in my top five goals. I will need to look at it again. It’s one of the dreams as a player, taking players on and trying to create something out of nothing, so when I got the space, I thought let’s go it”.
