Imperative we score in the first half against Uganda- Otto Addo

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo says he is certain that things will get a bit easy for his team once they get a goal in the first half against Uganda.

Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team takes on Uganda in an international friendly game on March 26 at 16:00 GMT in Morocco.

The Black Stars are coming off a 2-1 loss to Nigeria in a previous friendly game also played in Morocco with Ghana conceding in either half before getting a consolation goal from Jordan Ayew in the 95th minute.

Against Uganda, Otto Addo believes a goal in the first half will help the Black Stars to get its first win in Addo’s return to the team.

“I think the hardest thing will be the first half, to break them, to score a goal and once we have achieved this then things are going to be easier.”

Addo replaced Chirs Hughton as Black Stars head coach after Ghana crashed out of the 2023 AFCON at the preliminary stage.
