Coach of Ghana’s National 3×3 Basketball Team, James Ocloo, believes that hosting an international basketball competition in Ghana will do a lot of good to develop basketball in the country.

Ghana hosted the 13th African Games and 3×3 basketball was among the disciplines athletes competed in throughout the three week competition.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports after Ghana won silver medal in the men’s division and made it to the quarterfinals in the women’s division, Ocloo talked about how far the Ghana has come in the 3×3 basketball and added that, (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“It means a lot to Ghana basketball. This is the first time something like this has happened for Ghana basketball so I think this is a big platform for Ghana basketball and we have shown Ghanaians that 3×3 is big and Ghana can do better than this so I believe if we continue like this, we can go places.”
