Leicester City manager, Enzo Maresca, has highlighted the youthfulness in connection to Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku’s play.

He did this in his post game interview following Leicester’s much needed 3-1 win over Norwich City to rank third in the league with a game in hand. The Foxes trail league leaders Ipswich Town by two points.

Stepy Mavididi, Jamie Vardy and Kieran Dewsbury-Hall scored for Leicester after Norwich’s Gabriel Sara registered the game’s opening goal.

Issahaku played 88 minutes before getting replaced by James Justin; Fatawu completed seven of nine dribble attempts, completed 33 of 46 passes and delivered one accurate cross on five attempts.

Speaking on the performance of his wingers, Maresca stated, “Stephy probably managed better through the 90 minutes. Abdul had some decisions, but also it’s normal [because] he is very young. Again we created many chances today.”
