EPL: Antoine Semenyo nominated for Player of the Month Award (March)

Ghana’s Antoine Semenyo has been nominated for the English Premier League Player of the Month Award for March.

This nomination comes on the back of an impressive March for the AFC Bournemouth player who played a key role in The Cherries unbeaten run in March and has extended into April.

Semenyo scored twice in Bournemouth’s terrific comeback 4-3 win over Luton Town and bagged a goal in a 2-0 win over Burnley.

His brace against Luton Town had him score brilliant goals with his first being the pick of the bunch; Semenyo’s goal came off a brilliant run and strong strike into the net.

The former Bristol player talked about his goal scoring outing in the post-game interview and highlighted his ability to dribble with either feet as a big advantage over defenders. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

Semeyo assisted Justin Kluivert’s goal in Bournemouth’s 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Tuesday, April 2 in a midweek league game.

The Black Stars forward has been nominated for the top award with Arsenal’s Ben White, Tottenham Hotspurs’ Heung-Ming Son, Cole Palmer of Chelsea and Rodrigo Muniz of Fulham.

AFC Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola was nominated for the Premier League Manager of the Month Award for March.
