Leicester City Football Club manager, Enzo Maresca, isn’t dwelling too much on the numerous chances missed by The Foxes but accepts that missing chances is part of football.

He said this in a pre game press conference ahead of Leicester’s game against Plymouth Argyle. Leicester City head into the game on the back of a 1-0 loss to Milwall.

Though Leicester are on top of the SkyBet Championship standings, the significant lead it had earlier in the season has evaporated with The Foxes tied on points with second ranked Ipswich Town having played a game fewer.

The Italian manager highlighted missed chances by Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and other Leicester forwards in his statement saying,

“We had Stephy Mavididi (miss a chance)after five minutes, Kel (Kelechi Iheanacho), Pat (Patson Daka), Ricky (Ricardo Pereira), Abdul [Fatawu], Yunus [Akgün]. But it’s football. You don’t score; they score. But we are not worried about the goal we conceded or the chances we miss.”
