Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has picked football legend Augustine “Jay-Jay” Okocha as the greatest African footballer ever.

Kudus made his pick in an interview with EA Sports as he continues to star for English Premier League side West Ham United in his debut season with the London club.

Kudus picked the former Nigerian midfielder as the greatest African footballer paying homage to the former Bolton Wanderers player’s creativity and skill.

“I will say Okocha. Explaining through my lens how I see creative players try to entertain the game, that can never be washed away. Fans can never forget the entertainment you give them on the pitch. I know now goals and assists are important but I like creative players and players that love to entertain the fans, try to do something than what everyone is doing than just passing the ball.”
