Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Board Member, Vincent Sowah-Odotei, says the club is delighted to have Aboubakar Ouattara as head coach.

The Ivorian trainer replaced Dutch coach Martin Koopman as head coach ahead of the second round of the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season.

Under Ouattara, Hearts got off to a brilliant start going on a five game unbeaten run before slumping to three straight losses.

Hearts rebounded in fine style with a 3-1 win over Karela Football Club in a game that had Salim Adams score one of the goals of the season.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Citi TV’s Football Made in Ghana, Sowah-Odotei opined that the club was very happy to have him Ouattara on board.

“We are extremely delighted to have him in our team. Ouattara brings to board huge experience in management of football, huge experience understanding of the business of football and huge experience and how to collaborate with team owners with all levels of a football club.”
