The Dade Boys were demoted to Ghana’s second tier after finishing the season in 16th place with 44 points, recording 11 wins, 11 draws, and 12 losses in 34 matches.

Their relegation was sealed by Berekum Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Hearts of Lions with the game played at the Golden City Park in Berekum

Saint Osei mentioned that his decision to resign would have remained unchanged regardless of the outcome of the final game against Real Tamale United.

He also stated that he is open to new opportunities.

It is a decision, i would have taken anyway, if we did not exit the league.

Last year, i had wanted to go, but i was convinced by some elders of the club to hold on.

But like i said, this time around i would have left anyway regardless of the results from the final day.

Sometimes it is only good to have a refreshing moment, so for now i am available.

I am no longer with Great Olympics, it is sad. I have paid my dues and it is time to move on.
