Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo will miss AFC Bournemouth’s next English Premier League game against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 24 year old player will miss the upcoming game on Saturday, November 30 at 15:00 GMT at the Molineaux due to the accumulation of yellow cards.
Semenyo was shown a yellow card in the 40th minute in Bournemouth’s 2-1 loss to Brighton and Hove Albion marking the fifth time this season he has been cautioned.
Speaking after the game, Bournemouth manager, Andoni Iraola, expressed his disappointment over missing out on the win and shared his thoughts about Semenyo’s absence in the upcoming game.
“I know that we are going to lose Antoine (Semenyo). That obviously is a very important miss with five yellow cards. They (Wolves) are coming from two wins, we are coming from two losses so I think it’s a game that is important for us.”
Semenyo has starred for The Cherries this season with four goals and an assist in 12 league games.
Wolves scored an impressive 4-1 win comeback win over Fulham at Craven Cottage heading into the game.
